Sanjukta is a User Experience Researcher at Simpa Networks, a technology company with a product and business model that aims at making sustainable energy choices radically affordable to the Base of the Pyramid consumers in non-electrified areas.

Sanjukta graduated as an Interaction Designer from the Industrial Design Centre at IIT Bombay. She has done Bachelors of Technology in Computer Science & Engineering from Bangalore. During her Masters she worked as a research assistant at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore on leveraging social media for conservation of disappearing community identities in India, concerning extensive field research in tribal communities of Jharkhand and collaborating alongside UNICEF, Ranchi and National Geographic Enduring voices project. She has also worked on various projects in the social domain like disaster management solutions in social circles and collaborative storytelling for children among others.

An avid traveler and passionate photographer, she believes strongly that Human Centered Design approach is the key to developing sustainable solutions for social impact. Her areas of interest lie in User Experience, Interaction Design, User Research, HCI and Social Media.
